Kinheng offers various arrays for end application.

We can provide CsI(Tl), CsI(Na), CdWO4, LYSO,LSO, YSO, GAGG, BGO scintillation arrays. Based on the application TiO2/BaSO4/ESR/E60 are widely used as reflective material for pixel isolation. Our mechanical processing keeps the minimal tolerance to optimize array’s physical properties including tolerance, dimension, minimal-cross talk and uniformity etc.

GAGG arrays

GAGG (Gd3Al2Ga3O12) is a type of scintillator material that has become increasingly popular in radiation detection applications due to its high light yield, fast response time, and excellent energy resolution. It is particularly useful for gamma-ray spectroscopy, where precise measurement of gamma-ray energies is required.

GAGG arrays have many applications in areas such as nuclear physics, medical imaging, and homeland security. GAGG arrays can also be used in radiation portal monitors to detect and identify potential sources of radiation at airports, seaports and other transportation hubs.

LYSO array

LYSO arrays can be used in similar applications as GAGG arrays, such as PET scanners and radiation portal monitors. They can also be used in other types of imaging systems, such as gamma cameras and SPECT (single photon emission computed tomography) scanners for medical imaging.

The main advantage of LYSO over GAGG is its higher density and atomic number, which make it more efficient at detecting gamma rays. However, LYSO is also more expensive than GAGG and has some limitations in terms of its temperature and radiation hardness.

Overall, both GAGG and LYSO arrays are important tools for radiation detection and imaging in a variety of applications, and are continually being developed for even better performance and versatility.
