What's the security inspection?

The underlying issues of radiation detection manifest themselves in three major shortcomings that prevent their effective deployment in security applications:
1.Difficulty to reliably detect shielded nuclear material
2.High nuisance alarm rates caused by natural radioactivity
3.Toxic, expensive, or unavailable detector materials that prevent scaling up to the necessary sensitivity.

KINHENG Materials offers optical materials applied products such as Scintillator Which is one of these optical materials applied products and it converts X-ray energy into light. Kinheng Materials has supplied CWO (CdWO4) scintillator. It has high sensitivity, short after glow and high X-ray resistance, and serves as the key elements in high-speed scanning of X-ray tomography, high resolution imaging devices and minimum possible exposure X-ray photography in industrial inspection field.

Our targeting is aiming at expanding industrial application of scintillators base on our process designing technology established by materials designing technology and understanding of optical properties of scintillators obtained in the medical application field. Namely, scintillators for various X-ray inspection systems for traveler’s baggage at airport and seaport, smuggling goods, illegal entry and exit, border, foreign substances in food and defects in complicated structures.

Our materials help you to have high resolution X-ray detection designing, high-speed baggage checking by fast scanning, serviceable life elongation of X-ray tubes and down-sizing of scattering X-ray equipments by smaller amount of shielding materials.

What Kinheng can provide?

CsI(Tl) scintillator array
CsI(Tl)1-D line arrays are widely used in Security inspection scanner in Subway, seaport, airport,border etc. Our Cz growth CsI(Tl) has low afterglow, which will make the film very clear. Regular pixel 8 element, 16 elements. Customization is in service.

CWO(CdWO4) scintillator array
It has high sensitivity, short after glow and high X-ray resistance, and serves as the key elements in high-speed scanning of X-ray tomography, high resolution imaging devices and minimum possible exposure X-ray photography in industrial inspection field.
GAGG:Ce array
1D, 2D GAGG:Ce arraya available. Which has 4 times brightness better than CWO in higher energy ranges.
